Web Portal FAQs
  • 1.  Who can use the Web Portal?
    • Users of the Web Portal include DC Medicaid-enrolled providers or provider organizations, Medicaid recipients, DHCF and Conduent staff.

  • 2.  Why was I automatically logged out while I was working in the Web Portal?
    • For security purposes, the Web Portal will automatically log out a user who is inactive for more than 20 minutes.

  • 3.  Is there a deadline for submitting electronic claims?
    • Electronically submitted claims (i.e., claims submitted using billing software or via a clearinghouse), must be transmitted by 3:00 pm on Fridays to ensure processing in weekly payment cycle. For assistance and questions regarding electronically submitted claims, please contact Conduent’s EDI Department at (866) 407-2005.

  • 4.  What is online Help?
    • The online Help guide is a quick way to get answers to some of the most common questions regarding the Web Portal and its functionality.

  • 5.  Can I send a message to request assistance via this website?
    • Yes, requests can be submitted via the Web Portal. To request assistance, select Communication Options > Submit a Request to Customer Service. Please allow 48 hours for initial contact.

  • 6.  What is the status of my prior authorization request?
    • Upon successful login, prior Authorization status may be obtained by selecting 'PA Inquiry' from the Inquiry Options found in the Web Portal and entering the PA number or recipient ID.

  • 7.  Does the Web Portal protect personal information?
    • Yes! Confidential provider- or recipient-related data is not disclosed on the Web Portal’s public pages. Private Web pages are accessible only by authorized users and may contain protected provider and recipient health care information.  To ensure the protection of confidential provider and recipient information, Conduent encrypts any data being passed to and from computers across the Internet. In addition, access to the secure area requires entry of a unique login.
